I am currently a Master's candidate at the Master of Science in Biomedical Communications program at the University of Toronto! I have a deep passion in sharing my journey towards becoming a medical illustrator and learning everyday to become a better science communicator.

I graduated from University of Toronto with an Honours Bachelor of Science specializing in Biology for Health Sciences & Chemistry in 2019. I graduated in 2022 from University of British Columbia with a certificate in Biomedical Visualization and Communication. In this program I had an in-depth knowledge into medical visualization & communication, human anatomy & structure, ethics, UX/UI design and research. The final capstone project allowed me to work in a team with a real life client where prototyping, client meetings & scrums were completed. Alongside this program, I worked full-time at a pharmaceutical company as a Scientist I in Biology for 5 years, conducting cancer research for small molecules.

I hope to communicate various scientific & non-scientific topics through different mediums given my background in the sciences, experience in the industry and passion for arts.
