Goal: The anatomy of the human stomach is usually shown in a coronal section from anterior view in anatomy textbooks. The goal of this assignment was to illustrate a structurally accurate and realistic anatomical structure from a unique view that is still able to best communicate information.

A cross-sectional view of the typical human stomach which shows the path of travel of a bolus from the inferior esophagus through the stomach and into the duodenum through the pyloric orifice was chosen to be communicated.
